Kendex Orange
This unique, thixotropic, grease-like corrosion inhibitor was developed specifically for long-term rust protection of Oilfield threads and is recommended not only by Hydril but also by Tasman Oil Tools! Highly polar microscopic platelets form overlapping particle layers that function as a moisture barrier, with other benefits including:
- Prevention of pipe thread rusting for over 2000 hours
- Ability to creep at least ½” after application, allowing protection of areas not coated or where coating was displaced
- Displacement of moisture to ensure good bonding and rust protection
- Application by brush or spray, resisting sag, runoff or flow
- Minimal thread damage when applying torque
- Reduction in Galvanic Corrosion
- Resistance to cracking, disbanding or runoff
- Resistance to Sulfur Reducers and other bacteria that accelerate corrosion
- Resistance to degradation from sunlight
