Blow Out Prevention:
Annular Type BOPs
Use a hydraulic operated rubber annular ‘bag’ to completely close around the drill string if or when a blowout threatens. Our Annualar BOP’s cover 7.1/16" to 21.1/4" and are pressure rated to 10,000PSI.
Single Ram Type BOP
Single Ram Surface (as opposed to subsea) BOPs can seal the annulus around drill pipe, casing or tubing; or shear the drill string. We have a complete range up to 13.5/8" ID and they are pressure rated up to 10,000PSI.
Double Ram Type BOP
Double Ram Surface (as opposed to subsea) BOPs can seal the annulus around drill pipe, casing or tubing; or shear the drill string. We have a complete range up to 18.3/4" ID and they are pressure rated up to 10,000PSI.
Accumulator Units
Hydraulic activated pressure building vessels designed to assure reliable control of the BOP stack with adequate reserve for continuous operation in the event of a blowout. Our units are compatible with all BOPs and skid mounted units with remote control panels.
Rotating Head
Sealing device used to close off the annular space around the kelly in drilling with air. Usually installed above the main blowout preventers.
Cup Testers
Attached to drill pipe and Lowered into the casing below the well head to pressure test the BOP stack and well head.
