Drill Bits
Bottom cutting component of drill string. We offer large OD tri-cone drill bits with mill tooth type cutters from 17.1/4" to 26", suitable for all types of formation and supplied with Bit Breaker. We also specialize in the service of client owned drill bits.
Hydraulic Jars
Drilling Jars allow an upward or downward jarring action to free stuck drill stem components. Tasman Oil Tool’s SUP-R-HY Drilling Jar can be run in all types of wells. With a range of 4.3/4", 6.1/2" and 8" sizes these Drilling Jars will hit harder, last longer and can be run in tension or compression.
Drilling Bumper Subs
Are comprised of a cylinder with compressible fluid that delivers a downward blow in an effort to free stuck drill stem components. Our range consists of 4.3/4" OD to 8" OD.
Hole Openers
Designed for enlargement of pilot holes and large hole applications from 8.1/2" to 52". Our hole openers are Security type, fixed arm and are supplied with jet nozzles and Carbide Milled Teeth Cutters.

Mud Motors
Positive displacement downhole motors that create or accelerate bit rotation independent from the top drive. Our range consists of sealed bearing motors from 3.1/2” OD.
Shock Tools
Shock tools dampen and eliminate vibrations caused by hard formation drilling. Drill string bounce is kept to a minimum thus increasing drill string life. Tasman can offer shock tools from 6.1/2” OD to 9”.
Roller Reamers
Use a reaming action to clean the hole wall and reduce dog-legs, key seats, and ledges in a hole, preventing sharp changes in wall surface downhole. We offer rotary Type Roller Reamers with a range from 8.1/2” OD to 17.1/4” OD.
Under Reamers
These tools have three retractable cutting arms that are opened and held in position by continuous hydraulic pressure. The three arm design allows the pilot hole diameter to be increased up to 75 percent depending on tool size. Please contact our rental team for more details on range and availability.
