Subs and Valves:
Float Subs
Float subs house float valves that act as a downhole check valve.
Saver Subs
Subs that are placed in areas prone to damage thereby extending the life of expensive tools.
Bit Sub
Connects the Bit to the drill stem. We hold a range of API and proprietary options.
Cross Over Subs
Substitutes that crossover from one connection size and type to another. We hold a huge range of API, Proprietary and Tubing connections.
Lift Subs
Lift Subs enable the safe and efficient handling of drill collars utilizing drill pipe elevators.
Water Head Bushings
Sub that connects the drill string to the casing for running and landing casing downhole.
Bull Nose Subs
Used to run in hole when a bit is not required and have a blunt rounded end where a jet can often be installed.
Dart Activated Cementing Sub
Run as part of the subsea wellhead landing string to allow application of cement to and is activated by dropping a dart from surface through the drill stem ID to the cementing sub.
Circulating Subs
Attached to the top of the drill stem to form a connection with the mud flow line to permit circulation of the drilling mud.
Pump In Subs
Allow additional space on the rig floor for easier installation of a pump-in line assembly and for safer operations when moving of the string is required.
RDCV’s
Retrievable drop-in check valves provide a means of controlling back flow through the drill pipe during a kick or when tripping pipe into the hole against pressure.
Safety Valves / Lower Kelly Cocks
Operate using a ball-type mechanism and are designed to stab into the drill pipe or tubing at the rig floor and close quickly in case there is a gas influx or kick.
Inside BOP’s / Stabbing Valve
Designed to control or prevent a backflow condition when the kelly or top drive is disconnected from the drill pipe.
